Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Assistant Floor Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Floor Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining smooth workflow on the floor. This role is integral to achieving operational efficiency, team morale, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Floor Manager in day-to-day operations, including staff supervision and floor management.
- Ensure that all clients are satisfied and have an excellent experience by addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor employee performance and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Foster a welcoming and positive environment for both clients and team members.
- Manage inventory, including tracking stock levels and coordinating with suppliers.
- Train new team members and oversee ongoing staff development.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floor area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Handle operational issues effectively, including scheduling, shift coverage, and workflow adjustments.
- Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improved efficiency and profitability.
- Assist in preparing reports on sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
A degree in hospitality, business management, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Demonstrated ability to create positive customer experiences and ensure client satisfaction.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in [specific software/tools, if applicable].
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
