*Dental Assistant* ===================== ### Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail -oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized clinic, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high -quality patient care. ### Responsibilities * Assist dentists during procedures, including preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist * Maintain accurate and up -to -date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and fluoride treatments * Maintain a clean and organized clinic, including sterilizing instruments, restocking supplies, and disposing of biohazardous waste * Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care ### Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting certification (CDA) or associate's degree in dental assisting preferred * 1 -2 years of experience as a dental assistant, with a strong focus on patient care and clinic management * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other team members * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities * Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional Saturdays
