*Summary:*  We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach to join our dynamic gymnastics training team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early -career professional passionate about youth development, athletic performance, and gymnastics education. The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in delivering high -quality, safe, and engaging training sessions for athletes across various skill levels. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and performance -driven environment that promotes discipline, confidence, and physical excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow within the gymnastics community, gain hands -on experience, and contribute to the long -term success of aspiring gymnasts. *Responsibilities:*  - Assist in planning and delivering structured gymnastics training sessions under the supervision of the Head Coach.  - Support athletes in mastering fundamental and advanced gymnastics techniques across apparatus (floor, vault, bars, beam).  - Monitor athlete safety during practice, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.  - Provide individualized attention and constructive feedback to help athletes improve technique and performance.  - Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional demeanor to inspire confidence and motivation in young athletes.  - Help organize and maintain training equipment, facilities, and training records.  - Collaborate with the coaching staff to evaluate athlete progress and support team development goals.  - Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and team leadership to ensure alignment on training objectives and expectations. *Requirements:*  - High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field preferred.  - 0–1 year of relevant experience in coaching, fitness instruction, or youth sports programs.  - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and coaching staff.  - Passion for gymnastics and a commitment to athlete development and safety.  - Ability to work in a fast -paced environment and adapt to changing schedules and training needs.  - Basic knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety standards, and age -appropriate training methods.  - Reliable transportation and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
