Chief Executive Officer

Our partners, a renowned midsize telecom company in Lebanon, are looking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to join their team. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) holds overall responsibility for the strategic leadership, growth, and operational excellence of the company. As the top executive, the CEO ensures that all clusters work in alignment to achieve the organization's mission of delivering world-class mobile and digital connectivity.

The CEO acts as the primary representative of the company to shareholders, regulators, partners, and the wider market, ensuring strong governance, financial sustainability, customer satisfaction, and innovation in a highly competitive telecom landscape.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and drive the company's long-term vision, mission, and business strategy in alignment with board directives.
• Oversee strategic initiatives across technology, commercial, finance, HR, and digital functions to ensure coordinated growth and market leadership.
• Anticipate market trends, regulatory shifts, and emerging technologies to position the company as an industry innovator.

Financial & Operational Management

• Ensure profitable growth and efficient resource allocation.
• Approve budgets and oversee financial performance, cost optimization, and investment decisions.
• Safeguard against operational risks, fraud, and compliance breaches.

Stakeholder & Market Engagement

• Act as the face of the company to shareholders, regulators, partners, and the public.
• Build strong relationships with government entities, telecom regulators, investors, and industry partners.
• Represent the company in industry forums and key strategic partnerships.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local and international laws, telecom regulations, and corporate governance standards.
• Promote ethical leadership, transparency, and accountability across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of senior leadership experience in telecom, technology, or related industries.
• Proven track record as CEO in a complex, fast-paced organization.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of telecom economics.
• Expertise in digital transformation and customer-centric business models.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Integrity, resilience, and the ability to inspire diverse teams.
