The HR Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive support in HR functions including employee relations, training and development, performance management, and HR administration. The role ensures compliance with internal policies while supporting a positive workplace culture.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing job descriptions and grading scales
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires (contracts, orientation, documentation).
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes in accordance with company policies.
- Promote a healthy and inclusive work environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare HR-related documentation (employment contracts, letters, etc.).
- Support payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, leaves).
- Assist in the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
- Monitor probation periods and performance evaluations.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
- Support audits and reporting requirements.
Required skills & qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
