The role

We are now looking for a Legal Manager to strengthen our team As Legal Manager you will help deliver, manage and support legal work within Dentsu.

Key responsibilities

• Providing legal advice to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation on relevant subjects to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and the protection of Dentsu's commercial interests
• Drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial agreements
• Delivering adequate legal support (templates, advice, risk management, subject matter knowledge) to accelerate and underpin the expansion of company strategy
• Providing legal support on various matters to commercial teams in contractual negotiations to achieve the most advantageous and/or beneficial legal and commercial terms for Dentsu
• Assisting in developing and delivering training and legal risk management initiatives to senior management in managing legal risks (e.g. business training, legal updates, etc)
• Helping to implement best-practices in compliance, contracts management, intellectual property, data protection, IT, litigation and/or M&A (having regard to the Legal Counsel's specialist area)
• Assisting with delivering cost-effective handling of existing litigation and disputes to protect Dentsu's best interests, including timely and accurate reporting

Our ideal candidate has the following attributes

• Fluency in English and Arabic
• 4-6 years of experience working with different laws across the region
• Specialised in contract law and corporate law, knowledge of Saudi Arabia law as an advantage
• Familiar with labour laws and government communications as an advantage
• Experience in a similar organisation or industry (media or e-commerce)
• Happy to work within a dispersed international team
• Open and transparent communication style
• Practical and commercially minded
• Experience working with external counsel
