Manage and develop the Accounts Receivables and the Accounts Payables teams and promote cooperation within the Finance Department.
Lead on the compliance process and proactively communicate relevant rules and regulations.
Control posting of general ledger transactions, client aging.
Manage requirements for external auditors and ensure legal compliance with tax advisors.
Effectively report about financial risks and timely escalate when necessary.
Co-ordinate with business control on budget and forecast generation.
Analyze deviations from budgets and introduce corrective measures.
Identify, measure and assess financial risks, establish and deploy policies, controls and mitigating actions, to achieve an optimal balance between risk and return.
Report and communicate effectively, to enhance internal and external understanding of business performance and strategy.
Desired Candidate ProfileUniversity degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting or Finance from well-established universities. MBA, CMA or CPA is a plus.
Minimum 7-8 years of experience in Accounting with minimum of 2-3 years as Accounting Manager or Chief Accountant or Reporting Manager within a well-established industrial or manufacturing or production company.
Good knowledge of general accounting principles, methods and applications
Good knowledge of Lebanese taxation and NSSF regulations and laws
Bilingual: English and Arabic. French is plus.
Computer literate: Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and ERP software.
