As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Beirut, supporting recruitment delivery across the GCC.

Role Overview

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a hands-on recruitment lead, responsible for end-to-end talent acquisition across a wide spectrum of freelance and permanent event roles.

This is not a traditional corporate recruitment role. It is fast-paced, deadline-driven, and highly operational—requiring the ability to source, assess, negotiate, and deploy talent remotely across multiple GCC markets, often under intense time pressure and changing project scopes.

You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and freelancers to ensure the right people are placed in the right roles, at the right time, and within budget, while maintaining strong relationships and long-term talent engagement.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment Delivery

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for freelance and permanent roles: sourcing, headhunting, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Deliver recruitment across multiple disciplines including event production, operations, technical (AV/IT), hospitality, guest management, branding, creative, security, logistics, and support functions.
  • Handle high-volume and last-minute hiring requests with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.

Talent Pipeline & Workforce Planning

  • Build, grow, and maintain a deep, event-specific talent pipeline aligned to recurring GCC projects and long-term client needs.
  • Proactively map talent by role, skillset, availability, location, rate expectations, and project readiness.
  • Anticipate upcoming project needs and ensure talent readiness ahead of time.

Freelancer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with freelancers across the GCC and international markets.
  • Track freelancer availability, mobility, and performance history.
  • Keep freelancers engaged through regular communication, updates, and redeployment opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact, ensuring freelancers are aligned with project expectations, timelines, and working conditions.

Headhunting & Market Sourcing

  • Actively headhunt and attract passive candidates from the events and live experiences industry.
  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, internal databases, referrals, industry networks, and direct outreach to secure top-tier talent.
  • Build niche talent pools for hard-to-find and specialist event roles.

Interviewing & Candidate Assessment

  • Conduct structured, behavioral, and competency-based interviews, assessing not only skills but event-readiness, adaptability, attitude, and pressure-handling ability.
  • Evaluate candidates for cultural fit, client expectations, and on-site performance realities.
  • Provide clear recommendations and shortlists to internal teams and clients.

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal operations, finance, HR, and client-facing teams to understand role requirements, budgets, timelines, and project constraints.
  • Support client expectations by delivering realistic, compliant, and cost-effective hiring solutions.
  • Manage urgent changes in scope, roles, or headcount with agility and professionalism.

Offers, Rates & Negotiation

  • Lead compensation discussions with freelancers and full-time candidates.
  • Negotiate rates and packages in line with client budgets, market benchmarks, and internal guidelines.
  • Ensure transparency and alignment between candidates, clients, and internal teams.

Systems, Data & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in ATS/CRM systems, including candidate profiles, contracts, availability, and communications.
  • Support onboarding processes including documentation, contracts, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure recruitment activities align with regional labor practices and client frameworks, particularly for Saudi-based projects.

Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed on GCC events industry trends, talent availability, rate movements, and competitor hiring activity.
  • Share market insights with leadership to support workforce planning and recruitment strategy.
  • Contribute to improving recruitment processes, templates, and talent engagement practices.
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of proven recruitment experience, ideally within events, live entertainment, hospitality, production, or large-scale project environments.
  • Strong headhunting and sourcing expertise, with the ability to engage passive candidates.
  • Demonstrated experience managing freelance-heavy, fast-turnaround hiring.
  • Excellent interviewing, assessment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to perform under extreme time pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing large candidate databases.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS/CRM systems and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter is essential).
  • Good understanding of GCC market dynamics, particularly Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and able to plug into a fast-moving recruitment environment with minimal handholding.
