Position: Counter Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Counter Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Counter Officer, you will be responsible for managing the front counter, assisting customers with their inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and properly file related documents.
- Follow up on goods transfers between branches and the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area
- Monitor inventory levels and restock products as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets
- Open and track services requests (e.g., home visits, spare parts, and workshop jobs)
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers as per the scheduled plan and provided addresses.
- Monitor and follow up on the maintenance process of sold products.
- Coordinate with other branches and the warehouse to ensure the availability of all sold products
- Review daily delivery notes and follow up on all pending client issues related to deliveries
- Confirm receipt of daily issued invoices from accounting department and verify corresponding delivery dates
- Integrate the daily product returns into the system accurately.
- Conduct monthly checks for the branch's supply needs (e.g., delivery notes, bags, stationary) and send supply requests accordingly)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using cash registers and handling cash transactions
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
