B. Key Responsibilities
- Sales Execution & Market Coverage
- Supervise daily sales activities and ensure routes are executed as planned
- Ensure all assigned customers are visited according to the approved routing plan
- Monitor daily sales performance against targets and take corrective actions when needed
- Ensure proper product availability, shelf presence, visibility, and rotation in the market
- Identify opportunities for market growth and new customer acquisition
- Team Supervision & Development
- Lead, coach, and motivate route salesmen to achieve individual and team targets
- Conduct regular field visits and joint calls with the sales team
- Provide on-the-job training on selling techniques, product knowledge, and customer handling
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and overall performance of the sales team
- Report performance issues and support HR in employee relations matters
- Customer & Distributor Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors in the area
- Handle customer complaints and resolve market issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure proper implementation of contracts, pricing, promotions, and credit terms
- Follow up on collections in coordination with the sales team and finance department
- Reporting & Administration
- Submit daily and weekly sales reports to the Area Sales Manager
- Monitor aging accounts and support collection follow-ups
- Ensure all sales documentation and customer records are accurate and updated
- Communicate new products, prices, promotions, and policies to the sales team
- Compliance & Operations
- Ensure sales activities comply with company policies and procedures
- Monitor truck loads and ensure alignment with customer needs to avoid overloading or shortages
- Ensure proper handling of products, hygiene standards, and brand image in the market
C. Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in FMCG sales
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is highly preferred
- Experience in dairy or perishable products is a strong advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Time management and route planning skills
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to prepare and read sales reports
- Knowledge of route sales operations and FMCG distribution
Language
- Fluent in Arabic
- English is an advantage
