Position Overview:

Our client, a diversified retail group in Beirut, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Commerce Manager to join their team. The Digital Commerce Manager is responsible for driving strategy and execution across multiple category-focused e-commerce platforms. This role oversees website operations, catalog management, campaign
execution, and digital development projects, while coordinating closely with marketing, logistics, and store operations to ensure seamless omnichannel customer experiences and optimal online sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies across 4 websites to maximize revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market share expansion
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities and optimize positioning within core retail markets.
  • Create quarterly and annual digital roadmaps aligned with overall business objectives and seasonal trends
  • Establish and maintain brand consistency across all e-commerce touchpoints while adapting messaging for different customer segments

Product Catalog & Content Management

  • Manage end-to-end product catalog maintenance including new product launches, pricing updates, inventory synchronization, and product discontinuation processes
  • Oversee creation and optimization of product descriptions, specifications, images, and videos to maximize conversion rates and SEO performance
  • Implement strategic merchandising initiatives including product categorization, cross-selling opportunities, bundle creation, and featured product placement
  • Coordinate with buying teams to ensure accurate product information, competitive pricing strategies, and optimal inventory levels across all platforms

Technical Platform Management

  • Oversee comprehensive Shopify customizations including theme modifications, app integrations, checkout optimizations, and mobile responsiveness improvements
  • Develop and implement workflow automations for order processing, inventory management, customer communications, and marketing triggers
  • Manage user interface improvements based on customer feedback, analytics insights, and conversion optimization best practices
  • Ensure seamless integration between e-commerce platforms and existing ERP, CRM, and inventory management systems

Digital Campaign Coordination & Marketing

  • Collaborate with Marketing team to coordinate integrated digital campaigns including email marketing, social media promotions, and paid advertising initiatives
  • Execute SEO optimization strategies including keyword research, meta tag optimization, content creation, and technical SEO improvements
  • Manage promotional calendar including seasonal sales, product launches, clearance events, and special offers across all platforms
  • Oversee visual content management including product photography, banner creation, and multimedia content optimization

Operations & Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Liaise effectively with retail stores to ensure inventory accuracy, price consistency, and coordinated promotional activities between online and offline channels
  • Coordinate with warehouse operations to optimize order fulfillment processes, shipping options, and return handling procedures
  • Work closely with logistics teams to implement efficient delivery solutions, track shipment performance, and resolve customer service issues
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to address e-commerce related inquiries and implement feedback-driven improvements

Analytics, Reporting & Performance Optimization

  • Monitor comprehensive key performance indicators including conversion rates, average order value, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value metrics
  • Generate detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Conduct A/B testing on website elements, promotional strategies, and user experience features to optimize performance
  • Analyze customer behavior patterns, shopping trends, and seasonal fluctuations to inform strategic decision-making

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and develop solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and improve overall productivity
  • Drive automation initiatives including inventory alerts, customer communication workflows, and reporting processes
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure order accuracy, product information integrity, and customer satisfaction
  • Stay current with e-commerce industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance platform capabilities

Qualifications:

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in Shopify administration, customization, and app integration
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and conversion optimization strategies
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and other e commerce tracking tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time management skills
  • HTML/CSS knowledge, basic coding abilities, and familiarity with automation tools
  • Understanding of catalog management, SKU organization, and inventory tracking systems
  • Proven ability to work effectively with marketing, logistics, and retail teams
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret KPIs and translate data into actionable business strategies
  • Experience planning, executing, and measuring digital marketing campaigns
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement creative solutions quickly
