Job Description
The Position
As a part of META HR team, this role acts as HR specialist for all supporting business functions across Egypt and LEVANT, based in Lebanon, to deliver value-added services to management and employees in alignment with organization strategic objectives.
Consults and coach managers on different HR processes such as talent management, performance management, compensation and benefits, labor law, employees' relations, miscellaneous HR solutions. Drive implementation of HR strategy, HR Operating Model and serves as compliance steward in HR related matters.
Responsibilities
- Understands company strategy and business priorities and supports its implementation.
- Partners with business leaders across Egypt and Levant on all HR related matters
- Analyzes people related trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies to support organization strategy and improve employee experience.
- Acts as a change agent for cultural transformation, building culture of diversity and inclusion.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of labor law legal requirements.
- Enhancing and overseeing company SOPs including compensation and benefits.
- Partners with the legal department as needed/required, provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Designs and drives programs across Egypt and LEVANT in talent management, diversity and inclusion and Talent acquisition.
- Roll out of orientation sessions and onboarding process.
- Manage adhoc HR projects.
- Oversee wellbeing and health initiatives matching company strategy and negotiates services with 3rd party providers.
- Supports in budgeting analysis and forecasting.
- Provide payroll support including Salary actions.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
- Minimum 3 years' experience in HR function.
- Excellent knowledge on Local Lebanese Labor regulations is a must.
- Knowledge of Egyptian labor regulations is preferable.
- Excellent communication, consulting skills.
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Ability to develop a good understanding of business issues and identify and deliver HR solutions to meet business needs.
- Ability to understand data and propose data-driven solutions.
- Change Management.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
- Understanding of Compensation & Benefits principles and market practices.
- Travel time 15%.
