General Objective
The Field Officer contributes to the implementation of the Social Unit's mission by supporting the identification, assessment, accompaniment, and empowerment of vulnerable individuals and communities through effective outreach, coordination, and documentation, while ensuring quality service delivery, inclusion, and respect for beneficiaries' rights in accordance with arcenciel's values and objectives.
General Tasks
1. Outreach and Beneficiary Identification
- Conduct community outreach and identification of potential beneficiaries.
- Conduct interviews to collect household’s socio-economic data and documentations.
- Collect feedback from beneficiaries.
- Support in service mapping by identifying available local services and community resources.
- Field monitoring and follow-up
- Conduct field visits, home visits and follow-up visits as assigned and in coordination with the Social Worker.
- Follow up with beneficiaries according to the established follow-up plan.
- Report changes in beneficiaries' situations, concerns, or emerging needs to the Social Worker.
- Support the monitoring of activities and services delivered at community level.
3. Social Support
- Assist beneficiaries in accessing referred services.
- Verify information provided by beneficiaries when required.
- Support distribution or delivery of approved assistance when relevant.
- Coordinate closely with the Social Unit team and other arcenciel departments, according to established procedures.
- Documentation and reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date beneficiary and field activity records.
- Prepare field visit reports and other documentation as required.
- Ensure that information collected in the field is transmitted accurately and in a timely manner to the Social Unit.
- Contribute to the preparation of activity reports and statistics.
5. Quality, Compliance, and Organizational Commitment
- Respect arcenciel's policies, procedures, code of conduct, and safeguarding principles.
- Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of beneficiary information.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor that support the objectives of the Social Unit and arcenciel.
Working Conditions
- Job Constraints : Frequent travel throughout Lebanon, Exposure to challenging social and economic situations, Occasional work outside regular office hours during activities, emergencies, or special events
- Tools, Software used: Microsoft Office
- Workplace: Office-based work in additional to frequent travel across Lebanon.
- Working Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Type of contract: 9 months with possibility of renewal depending on funding
- Probation period: 3 months

Arabic and English are required. French is a plus.
Level of education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Social Sciences, Education, Public Health, or a related field. In addition to 1-2 years of experience in social work, community development, humanitarian work, etc
