Production Manager

Our Client is a well established company.The group has many subsidiaries working under its umbrella in Lebanon and KSA.They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee the furniture manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all production activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of high-quality furniture products. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to optimize resources while meeting production goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise the overall production process, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, to meet production targets and deadlines.
2. Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met throughout the production process.
3. Develop and implement production plans and strategies to optimize productivity, minimize costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
4. Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring raw materials and components are available to meet production requirements.
5. Oversee and enforce adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all production staff.
6. Train, mentor, and motivate production personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
7. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training and development programs for the production team.
8. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, maintaining optimal stock levels.
9. Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that finished products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
10. Identify and resolve production issues or bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions and process improvements as necessary.
11. Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in furniture manufacturing, and propose innovative ideas for process enhancements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A relevant technical diploma or certification may be considered with extensive experience.
2. Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the furniture industry, with a deep understanding of furniture manufacturing processes.
3. Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and resource optimization techniques.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse production team.
5. Solid understanding of quality control processes and standards within the furniture industry.
6. Proficient in using manufacturing software and systems for production planning, inventory management, and reporting.
7. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
10. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
11. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic production environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
12. Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when necessary to meet production demands.
