Our Client is a well established group operating in the furniture production, retail and wholesale industry. The group has many subsidiaries working under its umbrella in Lebanon and KSA. Supports the Technical manager and unit staff in planning, executing and successfully implementing technical related projects in the organization. The Project Officer has to ensure that all the Technical unit requirements are met for smooth functioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical manager and unit staff in planning the job requirements and mainly the resource requirements. 
  • Coordinates with the concerned departments to insure that all information is aligned.
  • Support the technical manager in maintaining accurate reports on the projects workflow.
  • Maintain and update all the production records and other project documents.
  • Ensures that all the office supply must be kept stocked.
  • Hold and attend the meeting for the exchange of information regarding the concerned project or any issue.
  • Organize the project files properly.
  • Develop a flow chart / plan listing down all the necessary components of the project.
  • Ensure project is compliant with quality standards set.
  • Ensure successful and timely completion of the project.
  • Effectively communicate with the concerned department at each stage of the project lifecycle.
  • Post project completion, take feedback from the client and the subordinates. Feedback must be analyzed in detail and should be applied for future projects.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure total costs do not exceed the budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or technical degree.
  • Knowledge of Project Management.
  • MS Office applications.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English advanced analytical and problem solving.
  • Must have time management as well as stress management skills.
  • Must have leadership qualities in order to govern the work properly.
  • Must provide quality services to the people.
  • Must have ability to work for long hours under high pressure.
  • Must have mathematical skills to solve problems.
  • Must have computer skills .
  • Proper management of resources.
  • Must have ability to plan efficient projects including technical
    specifications and schedules.
