The Legal Officer will provide comprehensive legal support and guidance to ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, providing legal research and advice, and ensuring corporate governance, while liaising with the company's external lawyer(s). The Legal Department is also expanding its capacity to support HR, organizational, and policy -related reforms, including the review and update of employment frameworks, the harmonization of cross -jurisdictional HR policies, and ensuring alignment with applicable labor and data protection laws. The Key Responsibilities are:Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the jurisdictions where it operates.Support the company lawyers in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, regulators, and legal advisors. Refer matters to the company lawyers for review, assessment, and approval, ensuring proper documentation and follow -up.Conduct legal research and provide updates on applicable laws and regulations.Conduct targeted legal research and comparative analyses on relevant laws and regulations across Lebanon, UAE, KSA, and Egypt, particularly in areas of corporate, commercial, and employment law, to ensure cross -jurisdictional compliance and consistency.Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's legal, HR, and compliance handbooks, ensuring that policies reflect evolving regulatory frameworks and organizational needs.Provide administrative support for legal documentation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and agreements, including MoUs, employment, NDA, sales, and lease agreements.Maintain legal records and document repositories, ensuring they are up -to -date, secure, and easily accessible for reference.Review, update, and standardize agreement templates across departments to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficient contract lifecycle management.Support the creation and periodic review of a Q&A handbook compiling recurrent legal and compliance questions for internal reference by HR, Finance, and Operations teams.Participate in the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and the code of conduct to ensure they align with legal requirements and best practices while working closely with HR and other departments to ensure that policies are effectively communicated and adhered to across the company.Work with cross -functional teams to establish compliance processes and internal controls.Develop and deliver training sessions to corporate staff on legal topics such as labor law, tax laws, NSSF, data privacy, IP, and compliance.Prepare regular updates and reports on legal and compliance issues.Contribute to intranet updates and ensure that all legal and compliance policies, toolkits, and templates are easily accessible and up to date.Participate in awareness initiatives aimed at improving understanding of compliance obligations and internal policy frameworks, including the integration of digital and AI -assisted legal tools. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Law or equivalent (Master's degree in Business, Corporate, or Employment Law is an asset).Proven work experience of at least 3 years in corporate, commercial, and contract law, preferably within a multi -jurisdictional context.Strong knowledge of corporate governance, intellectual property rights, mergers and acquisitions, compliance processes, policy development, corporate structuring, regulatory filings, due diligence, and stakeholder management.Familiarity with labor and data protection laws and experience supporting HR or organizational policy reforms is an advantage.Experience in KSA market or broader GCC region is considered a plus.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.Fluency in Arabic and English (French is a plus).Plan and complete tasks on time.Report on progress and keep others updated regularly.Manage complex problems or risks by analyzing them thoroughly and asking for help when needed.Work to solve conflicts in a positive way and ask for support if necessary.Share information openly and ask for ideas from others to meet the goals.Build trust with different internal and external stakeholders.Proficient in legal research tools, software, and databases, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex legal information efficiently.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing legal records and documents.Excellent English communication skills.Ability to work full -time on -site, aligned with Beirut time zone.
