Senior Architect Designer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Architect Designer to join our team. As a Senior Architect Designer, you will be responsible for managing a small team of designers and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your role will involve overseeing the design process, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, managing the capacity of the teams, and traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) or Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Management:

• Lead and manage a small team of designers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring a balanced workload and optimal utilization of resources.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork among team members.

2. Project Management:

• Take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing the design process from concept development to project completion.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to understand project requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that deliverables are submitted on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement corrective measures to ensure project success.

3. Design Excellence:

• Provide creative design direction and ensure design standards are met consistently across all projects.
• Conduct regular design reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry best practices and incorporate them into the design process.

4. Capacity Management:

• Assess and manage the capacity of the design team, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet project demands.
• Identify opportunities to optimize team productivity and workflow efficiency, implementing strategies and tools as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to forecast resource needs and plan for future project requirements.

5. Travel Requirement:

• Willingness and ability to travel to the UAE or KSA on a monthly basis.
• Collaborate closely with on-site teams, conduct site inspections, and provide necessary design guidance and support.
• Understand and adapt to local design practices, cultural sensitivities, and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Architect Designer or a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of designers.
• Proficient in design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver results under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• In-depth knowledge of architectural and design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and permits.
