Position Overview and Vision

The Senior Accounting & Finance Analyst is a key member of the North America Finance team, providing essential support across both Accounting and FP&A. Reporting jointly to the Controller, this hybrid role ensures accurate financial reporting, supports business planning and forecasting, and drives process improvements that strengthen data quality and efficiency.

This position plays a critical role in the monthly close process, preparation of management reporting, and coordination of sales tax compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting fundamentals, analytical acumen, and a continuous improvement mindset, with the potential to grow into a Controlling or FP&A leadership role over time.

Core Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Assist with fixed assets, leases, and payroll-related accounting.

• Coordinate with external tax providers (Vertex) to support US & Canadian sales tax filings, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.

• Maintain accurate tax-related data in SAP and ensure proper tax coding for AR/AP transactions.

• Support AR/Credit and AP teams with reconciliations, compliance, and month-end reporting.

• Provide data and schedules for audits and outsourced tax compliance.

Systems & Process

• Serve as Finance "super user" for SAP and BI reporting tools.

• Support SAP master data maintenance and coordinate with IT on finance-related system enhancements.

• Automate recurring reports and improve data accuracy and efficiency.

• Support Finance leadership with process improvement initiatives and special projects.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Assist with monthly management reporting packages and dashboards.

• Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations on performance analysis and KPI tracking.

• Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and margin/profitability analysis.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 3–6 years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, or financial analysis; public accounting or multinational experience strongly preferred.

• CPA or pursuit of CPA a plus; strong accounting foundation required.

• Experience with SAP or another ERP system strongly desired.

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; Power BI or similar tool experience a plus.

• Strong interest in both accounting and FP&A, with flexibility to support both areas.
