About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong technical expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and deep knowledge of both Lebanese and UAE accounting environments.
You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with local laws, manage financial reporting, and drive accurate forecasting to support strategic decision-making.

You'll work closely with management, operations, and external auditors while playing a key role in the financial scalability of our SaaS business.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle across Lebanon and UAE entities.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Odoo (Accounting system).
• Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L, cash flow, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure full compliance with:
  • Lebanese accounting laws & standards
  • Lebanese NSSF and VAT regulations
  • UAE accounting and VAT framework
• Handle VAT submissions, NSSF reporting, and statutory filings for Lebanon.
• Reconcile accounts, validate journal entries, and ensure timely closing processes.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare financial models, variance reports, and custom dashboards.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Continuously improve financial processes, reporting mechanisms, and internal controls.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proven experience working with Odoo Accounting.
• Deep understanding of:
  • Lebanese accounting laws & jurisdiction
  • Lebanese NSSF and VAT regulations
  • UAE accounting standards & VAT system
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret numbers and trends.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, dashboards, pivots).
• Solid experience preparing P&L statements, cash flow reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills in English.
