Position Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day HR operations management, managing strategic HR initiatives, and driving recruitment for senior leadership positions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

HR Operations Management

  • Oversee daily HR operations to ensure efficient and smooth functioning of HR processes
  • Partner with Direct Manager on managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and ensuring a positive organizational culture
  • Develop, review and implement process, policies and procedures for the efficient and effective administration of the division; update policies to reflect changes in legislation and best practices

Strategic HR Projects

  • Drive the execution and handle implementation of strategic HR projects, such as employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, rewards & recognition, organizational development, learning, etc…
  • Drive the implementation and go-live of HCM solution, digitization of HR processes and metrics

Recruitment & Learning

  • Take ownership of the recruitment process for senior and leadership positions from job requisition to onboarding
  • Collaborate with Direct Manager to define job specifications, identify talent requirements, and develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles and top-tier talent attraction
  • Manage OMT's workforce planning and analytics
  • Lead probation period assessment meetings for new recruits and follows-up continuously on their performance
  • Meet with recruiting team for continuous recruitment discussions, feedback sharing, brainstorming on improvements and new initiatives
  • Maintain positive relationships with new hires and keep checking their feedback and onboarding experience
  • Lead the learning and development initiatives and function

Analysis & Reporting

  • Manage budget & forecast, prepare and analyse numbers and figures
  • Develop and maintain HR reports, metrics, and KPIs to track progress and ensure HR activities are aligned with organizational objectives
  • Submit monthly & yearly reports and measure performance and results

People Development

  • Lead team members in terms of tasks execution, delegation and staff empowerment, effective guidance, motivation and coaching, performance management and career development
  • Provide guidance and support in HR operations and project execution
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous learning and improvement
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications

  • University degree in business administration, human resources or equivalent in major
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or any HR –related certification is preferable
  • MBA or Master's s in HR or HR Analytics is preferable

Technical Skills

  • Fully proficient in English and Arabic, French is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and in HRIS/HCM solutions (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, etc..)
  • Ability to manage multiple HR projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Expertise in senior-level recruitment processes, talent management, performance management, and HR project implementation
  • Strong competency in conducting structured interviews
  • Demonstrated experience in candidates' sourcing and headhunting
  • Tech-Savvy with a digital mindset

Relevant experience:

7 to 9 years in Human Resources Management including 3 years in a leadership role, with experience in managing HR operations and leading strategic HR projects
