Job Title: POS Accountant
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team and manage the financial transactions related to our Point of Sale (POS) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, coupled with practical experience in utilizing accounting software such as Omega, Dolphin, and Orange. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial transactions related to the Point of Sale systems, including sales, refunds, discounts, and payment processing.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all POS transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of POS transactions with bank statements and other financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive financial reports from POS data, including daily sales summaries, inventory reports, and cash flow statements.
- Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of POS data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in sales performance and operational efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies, including tax reporting requirements and audit procedures.
- Software Management: Utilize accounting software such as Omega, Dolphin, and Orange to manage POS transactions, maintain records, and generate reports.
- Communication: Collaborate with other departments, including sales, inventory management, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of POS data with overall financial operations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to POS transactions promptly and effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in POS accounting and software usage, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Salary : 800$-850$ (Based on the profile)
