Customs Compliance Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team in Beirut, Lebanon. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our organization's compliance with customs formalities.

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of customs compliance for the organization.
  • Prepare and review import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and other relevant parties.
  • Develop and maintain customs compliance procedures and policies.
  • Assist in resolving customs-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance on tariff classifications and customs valuation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth customs operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customs compliance or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and international trade laws.
  • Proficiency in customs compliance software and databases.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with import/export procedures and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Lebanese customs regulations and procedures.
  • Understanding of international trade agreements and tariffs.
  • Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English.
