Trade Compliance Expert

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team in Beirut, Lebanon as a Customs Compliance Specialist.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with customs formalities. This includes managing and overseeing all aspects of customs compliance, preparing and reviewing import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance, coordinating with freight forwarders and other relevant parties, developing and maintaining customs compliance procedures and policies, assisting in resolving customs-related issues and discrepancies, providing guidance on tariff classifications and customs valuation, and collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth customs operations.\Required Skills and Qualifications\

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customs compliance or related field,\
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and international trade laws,\
• Proficiency in customs compliance software and databases,\
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel,\
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,\
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities,\
• Effective written and verbal communication skills,\
• Experience with import/export procedures and documentation,\
• Knowledge of Lebanese customs regulations and procedures,\
• Understanding of international trade agreements and tariffs,\
• Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications,\
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment,\
• Fluency in English,\
