Senior Software Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with expertise in C#, .NET, and AWS. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs, as well as collaborating with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data models and services interacting with MariaDB databases.
  • Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure using AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure CI/CD best practices, secure deployments, and system observability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks using Jira to deliver features on schedule.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering excellence.
  • Leverage AI-powered developer tools to enhance productivity, streamline debugging, and accelerate delivery timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack.
  • Contribute to system documentation and technical decision-making processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong commercial experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core, ASP.NET, etc.).
  • Solid understanding and experience with MariaDB or similar SQL-based databases.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services, including infrastructure as code and scalability practices.
  • Proficiency with Jira or equivalent project/task management tools in Agile environments.
  • Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, ChatGPT) to enhance code quality and productivity.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering best practices: version control (Git), testing, CI/CD, etc.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 5+ years in a backend/software engineering role.
  • Demonstrated ability to adopt and adapt emerging technologies to solve engineering problems efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
