Sales & Logistics Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for fueling our clients global order flow by coordinating sales and logistics efforts.
Fuel client orders from first quote to final delivery across oceans, runways, and customs checkpoints. You will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and efficient logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Respond to clients in a timely manner, provide accurate quotes, and build trust through excellent communication skills.
- Supplier Synergy: Confirm supplier availability, pricing, and lead times to ensure timely delivery.
- Paperwork Precision: Prepare sales orders, purchase orders, proforma invoices, and packing lists with high accuracy.
- Shipment Orchestration: Arrange air, sea, and land freight, track shipments, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Regulatory Compliance: Generate and verify shipping documents, such as invoices and AWB/B/L.
- Data Vigilance: Maintain up-to-date product specifications, prices, and client requirements.
- Cash-Flow Control: Issue invoices promptly and pursue payments in a professional manner.
- Relationship Management: Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Lead Follow-Through: Nurture quotes, track opportunities, and drive future sales growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in sales coordination, logistics, or procurement with expertise in both air and sea freight.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (French or Arabic is a bonus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Excel, SAP, or similar).
- Detailed-oriented individual with a focus on precision and accuracy.
- Able to multitask efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.
