We are seeking to hire a "Head of Manufacturing" for a leading Regional Manufacturing and Distribution group. The position is based in Lebanon and it requires some travel.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the manufacturing team, ensuring that production goals are met and quality standards are upheld
Develop and implement a comprehensive production plan that takes into account capacity, lead times, and inventory levels
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that production schedules align with demand and that customer orders are fulfilled on time
Manage and optimize inventory levels, ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are available when needed
Ensure that all manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain key performance metrics to track production performance and identify areas for improvement
Manage and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork within the manufacturing organization
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, sales, and finance, to ensure that manufacturing operations are aligned with overall business goals

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field
At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with 5 years in a leadership role

Experience in preparing and equipping factories and dealing with suppliers
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvement initiatives
Proven track record of achieving production targets, reducing costs, and improving quality
Experience with inventory management and demand planning
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects from conception to completion
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to manufacturing operations
