Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team at our vibrant restaurant located in Down Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service, bringing creativity and innovation to our menu. The Head Chef will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a culture of excellence within the team. Candidates must possess a minimum of four years of relevant experience and a B.A. or Technical degree in culinary arts or a related field.



Responsibilities

  • Oversee kitchen operations and manage culinary staff.
  • Design and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients.
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet established standards.
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to health regulations.
  • Coordinate with management to plan special events and catering options.
  • Conduct regular kitchen meetings to communicate updates and standards.

Requirements

  • B.A. degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Must have experience with Josper Oven
  • Experience in Mediterranean food is a must
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity in menu development and food presentation.
