Dr. Costi House of Beauty Clinic recognizes the critical importance of the Human Resources Specialist role within our organization. As a pivotal member of our team, the Human Resources Specialist is entrusted with formulating and executing HR strategies, policies, and practices that align with and drive the accomplishment of our clinic's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate for this role must be a strategic thinker, well-versed in HR best practices and regulations, and possess exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Job Design and Recruitment: Collaborate with department heads and management to design job roles, responsibilities, and qualifications. Lead the recruitment process, including creating jobs postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and selecting the most suitable candidates for various positions within the company.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes, including performance evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and performance improvement plans. Assist managers in setting performance goals and monitor employee performance and development.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs within the organization and design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Coordinate with external training providers when necessary.
- Employment Cycle Changes: Oversee various HR aspects related to the employment cycle, such as onboarding, promotions, transfers, and separations. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations during these processes.
- Talent Management: Develop talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent. Work on succession planning and career development initiatives to nurture employee growth and potential within the organization.
- Facilities Management Services: Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure proper facilities management, including workspace allocation, health and safety compliance, and employee well-being initiatives.
- Enforcing Company Policies and Practices: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain a positive and productive work environment while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Benefits and Compensation: Administer employee benefits programs and compensation structures, ensuring competitive and fair packages.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Collect and analyze HR data to generate valuable insights and reports for management decision-making. Additionally, track and report on HR initiatives' progress towards organizational goals.
- Compliance: Stay updated with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the organization's HR policies and practices are in line with legal requirements.
- Employee Engagement and Culture: Foster a positive work culture and promote employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and employee retention.
- HR Technology: Utilize HR software and tools effectively to streamline processes and manage HR-related data efficiently.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle workplace conflicts and grievances, ensuring fair and prompt resolution.
- Practice Optimization: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organisation's HR policies and practices remain competitive and effective.
- HR Strategy and Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Requirements
Education & Experience
● Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with demonstrated success in multiple HR domains, such as recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and successful implementation of HR policies.
Competencies & Skills
● Bilingual in English and Arabic (French language is a Plus).
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
● Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, including EEO, affirmative action, and diversity and inclusion policies.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
● Demonstrates high levels of motivation, perseverance, and adaptability in addressing HR challenges and goals.
● Maintains strict confidentiality when handling sensitive HR information and employee matters.

● Familiarity with HR information systems and other HR-related software for efficient data management.
● Knowledge of labor laws and regulations to maintain positive relations with labor unions, if applicable.
● Skills in promoting diversity and inclusion to create a diverse and inclusive work environment.
● Ability to identify and develop potential future leaders within the organization.
● Proficiency in analyzing HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
