Dr. Costi House of Beauty is currently seeking a seasoned and proficient Senior Nurse with a proven track record in leadership to become an integral part of our esteemed team of medical professionals. As the Senior Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional nursing care to our valued patients while also overseeing the daily operations, staff management, and administrative aspects of our esteemed nursing department. This position entails close collaboration with the Medical Director and other clinic personnel, with a primary focus on upholding the utmost standards of patient care, safety, and overall satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership and Supervision:
● Provide effective clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff, leading by example with compassion, empathy, and professionalism.
● Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing training and development for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Comprehensive Nursing Care:
● Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative monitoring of patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and clinical standards.
● Administer medications and treatments with a focus on patient safety and comfort during their clinic stay.
3. Assisting Physicians During Procedures:
● Provide efficient support to physicians during in-office procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared and readily available.
● Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort levels throughout procedures, promptly addressing any concerns or complications.
● Assist physician in professional laser procedures and work with professional laser machines under physician’s supervision, (daily check-up, maintenance, report about any occurred problem)
● Assist physician during skin surgery (ensure all equipment are available, ensure aseptic techniques, pre and post op care and education, schedule follow up appointment)
● Assist physician during skin consultation, (write prescription paper, educate patients, coordinate with skin perfection, schedule follow up appointment)
- Policy and Procedure Development:
● Develop and implement policies and procedures that support safe and effective clinical practice, aligning with regulatory requirements and best practices.
● Regularly review and update policies to reflect industry standards and optimize patient care.
- Quality Improvement Initiatives:
● Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for quality improvement in patient outcomes and experiences.
● Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and monitor the outcomes of quality improvement efforts.
- Daily Nursing Department Operations:
● Manage staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient patient flow.
● Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment inventory and address operational issues promptly.
● Monthly check up storage room+ rooms including professional laser
● Daily check up on machines in storage room (autoclave, sterilization pouch machine and papers, report about any occurred problem)
- Patient Record Management:
● Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient information, adhering to professional and regulatory requirements for record-keeping.
● Safeguard patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Collaboration and Communication:
● Act as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
● Work closely with the Medical Director and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Strategic Planning and Alignment:
● Contribute nursing perspectives to the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan.
● Align nursing services with organizational goals and actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Performance Evaluation and Patient Satisfaction:
● Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care delivery to optimize patient outcomes.
● Address patient concerns promptly and provide emotional support as needed.
● Assess patient satisfaction and feedback to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for practice enhancement.
- Patient Education and Support:
● Educate patients and their families about treatments, medications, and self-care practices.
● Provide emotional support and counseling during challenging times to foster a caring and supportive environment.
- Time Off Management:
● Handle Time Off requests, ensuring adequate staffing levels to maintain quality patient care.
● Manage schedules to provide a balanced workload among nursing staff.
- Professional Development:
● Stay informed about current advancements and best practices in clinical nursing.
● Engage in continuous learning, attend conferences, and share knowledge with the nursing team.
- Compliance and Ethics:
● Uphold professional standards of care and ethical conduct.
● Ensure nursing staff compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Requirements
Education & Experience
● A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent with a valid nursing license in the country of practice.
● A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a cosmetic, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
