Overview
Ensure efficient coordination of documentation flow between suppliers, Transmed, and clearing agents to facilitate timely, accurate, and cost-effective customs clearance processes.
Responsibilities
Documents Checking
- Review incoming documents from suppliers, get clearing agents’ alignment and communicate discrepancies with suppliers for correction (if any)
- Filing and archiving: Maintain organized records of customs-related documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
Maintenance of OSR
- Regularly update and share OSRs with relevant stakeholders including the Warehouse, Market Planners, and Clearing Agents to ensure visibility on shipment statuses
Communication with the Clearing Agent & Warehouse
- Dispatch original shipping documents to clearing agents upon receipt from suppliers and follow up on customs clearance processes to avoid delays.
- Prepare containers delivery schedules and ensure timely containers’ arrivals and offloading at WHs.
Communication with F&A
- Notify F&A of any pricing discrepancies
Transmed Purpose
- Acts as a role model by living the Transmed Purpose on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Education: High School or Technical Degree | BA Degree is a plus.
- Language: Good Command of English and Arabic Language.
- Computer Skills: Good command in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
