We're looking for a People Intern
A bit about us
AlGooru is a Saudi-based edtech startup that uses AI to connect students with on-demand private tutors over 20+ subjects.
Main responsibilities
Assist the People team in streamlining the recruitment process by effectively screening candidate profiles and facilitating interview processes. Actively assist the People team in planning and executing engaging talent events and recognition programs to foster a positive workplace culture.A day in your life
Recruitment Support:
- Assist in posting job openings on various job boards.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and interview panels.
Onboarding and Orientation:
- Help prepare and organize new hire orientation materials.
- Assist in the onboarding process by ensuring new hires have the necessary resources.
People Administration:
- Provide administrative support in maintaining People records and databases.
- Assist in preparing People-related reports and documentation.
- Handle basic People inquiries from talents and direct them to the appropriate People team members
Experience needed
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Fast-minded and tech-savvy individual
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
- Experience with Google Sheets is a PLUS
- Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
- A passion for creativity, disruption, and nuclear bombing for innovation
- Commitment: 3–6 months.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship
