As the IT Specialist, you will hold a vital role in managing and maintaining our information technology systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance. Your expertise in IT support, network administration, and software troubleshooting will play a crucial role in meeting our clinic's technological needs and enhancing overall efficiency. Given our clinic's reliance on cutting -edge technology to provide exceptional cosmetic dermatology services, your proficiency in IT will significantly contribute to our commitment to delivering unparalleled patient care. Responsibilities IT Systems Management: Oversee and manage the clinic's information technology systems, including servers, workstations, and networking equipment. This involves setting up, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software to ensure efficient and reliable operation. Technical Support: Provide assistance to clinic staff for hardware, software, and network -related issues. Respond to IT help desk tickets promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions. Network Administration: Configure and maintain the clinic's local area network (LAN) and wireless network. Ensure network security, stability, and performance while monitoring for potential issues or unauthorized access. Software and Hardware Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software and hardware -related problems, including standard business applications and specialized clinic software. Data Backup, Security, and Compliance: Implement and manage data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical information, protect against data loss and cyber threats, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. IT Infrastructure Maintenance and Upgrades: Regularly update and upgrade IT infrastructure components, such as servers, storage, and networking equipment, to maintain optimal performance and meet the clinic's growing technological needs. IT Policies, Procedures, and Documentation: Assist in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures, while maintaining comprehensive documentation of the clinic's IT systems, configurations, and procedures for troubleshooting and future reference. Vendor Management and Procurement: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT -related services, equipment procurement, software licensing, and technical support. IT Training and End -User Support: Conduct training workshops for clinic staff to enhance IT skills and efficiency in using technology tools, providing ongoing support to end -users. Disaster Recovery Planning and Business Continuity: Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of IT system failures or natural disasters. Staying Informed about Technology Trends: Keep up -to -date with the latest advancements in information technology and recommend relevant upgrades or improvements to enhance the clinic's IT infrastructure. Collaboration and Cross -Departmental Solutions: Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective IT solutions that align with the clinic's overall goals. System Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. Researching and Recommending New Technologies: Explore and recommend new technologies that can benefit the organization and improve overall processes. Requirements Education & Experience ● Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. ● Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT support, network administration, and system maintenance. Competencies & Skills ● Bilingual in English and Arabic (French language is a Plus) ● Demonstrated expertise in IT support, network administration, and software troubleshooting. Proficiency in managing computer hardware, software, and peripherals. ● Ability to configure and maintain LAN and wireless networks, ensuring security, stability, and optimal performance. ● Strong analytical and problem -solving skills to identify and resolve IT -related issues effectively. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide technical support to clinic staff and communicate IT concepts clearly. ● Familiarity with data backup and security procedures, as well as best practices for protecting IT systems from cyber threats. ● Experience in developing and testing disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity. ● Proficiency in maintaining comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures for troubleshooting and future reference. ● Understanding of IT policies and procedures to ensure proper technology usage and data protection compliance. ● Capability to conduct training workshops for clinic staff to enhance IT skills and efficiency in using technology tools. ● Keeping up -to -date with the latest advancements in information technology and recommending relevant upgrades or improvements. ● Ability to collaborate with other departments and work as part of a team to provide effective IT solutions. ● A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate configuration and troubleshooting. ● Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and efficiently resolve IT issues. ● Strong interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders and provide exceptional customer service.
