Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Reception in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents and protect property at a prominent commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service. Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or policy violations as required by site procedures.Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding individuals to designated areas and supporting first responders as needed.Collaborate with Allied Universal management and location personnel to maintain a security-related presence and address any concerns.Remain alert and observant at all times while performing assigned duties within the commercial real estate environment.Minimum Requirements:
CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
