SCHEDULE 7.5 hour work day
Training Dates:
Tuesday, May 27, 2025- Work Day Wednesday, May 28, 2025 – Training and WorkdayThursday, May 29, 2025 – Workday / Open House 3-5 pmFriday, May 30, 2025- Work DaySummer Sessions:
Monday, June 02, 2025 – Thursday, June 26, 2025 Student Attendance DaysFriday, June 06, 2025- Student Attendance Day (ALL)Thursday, June 19, 2025- Holiday, No SchoolFriday, June 27, rd Grade Make-Up Attendance Day/Work Day/ClosingEducators will be expected to commit to the entire summer program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
During the Summer Camps:
Use curriculum materials provided by the districtComplete district-provided trainingTrack attendanceClock in and out on WCS time management systemOrganize, maintain, and account for supplies for materialsMaintain classroom managementEnsure health protocols are implemented to maintain student safetyImplement the summer camp curriculum with fidelityPerform duties as assigned by site coordinator and/or district policiesMaintain accurate records as required for Summer Learning CampsEnsure that the summer learning site is maintained and left in good orderManage distribution and collection of materials for Summer LearningTEMPERAMENT (Personal Traits)

This job may require lifting or carrying of objects that exceed fifty (50) pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Other physical demands that may be required are as follows: pushing and/or pulling, stooping and/or kneeling, reaching and/or handling, talking, hearing, seeing, and climbing.
WORK CONDITIONS
The role requires a normal working environment, with indoor and outdoor activities.
