*Summary:*  We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Baker to join our passionate team at a thriving, customer -focused bakery. This role is central to our mission of delivering consistently high -quality, artisanal baked goods that reflect both tradition and innovation. The Baker will be responsible for the entire production lifecycle—from mixing and fermenting dough to shaping, scoring, baking, and final presentation—ensuring every product meets our exacting standards of flavor, texture, and appearance. With at least two years of hands -on baking experience, the ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of dough fermentation processes, precision in scaling ingredients, and a meticulous attention to detail. This is a role for someone who is not only technically proficient but also genuinely passionate about the craft, taking pride in every loaf, pastry, and specialty item produced. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, brand reputation, and the daily success of our bakery operations. *Responsibilities:*  - Prepare and mix doughs using precise measurements and accurate scaling techniques to ensure consistency and quality.  - Monitor and manage dough fermentation processes, adjusting time, temperature, and environment as needed for optimal rise and flavor development.  - Perform shaping and scoring of breads and pastries with precision and artistry, ensuring uniformity and aesthetic appeal.  - Operate and maintain bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters in a safe and efficient manner.  - Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, adhering to food safety regulations and company protocols.  - Assist in inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating ingredients to minimize waste and ensure freshness.  - Collaborate with the head baker and team to develop new recipes, improve processes, and support daily production goals.  - Support daily opening and closing procedures, including equipment setup, cleanup, and documentation.  - Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to thrive in a fast -paced, team -oriented environment. *Requirements:*  - Minimum of 2 years of hands -on experience in a professional bakery or commercial kitchen environment.  - Demonstrated expertise in dough fermentation, including timing, temperature control, and troubleshooting.  - Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to consistently scale ingredients accurately.  - Proficient in shaping and scoring techniques for a variety of breads, rolls, and pastries.  - Passion for the craft of baking, with a commitment to quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.  - Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.  - Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations.  - Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
