Job Title: Product Designer

Experience: 4+ Years

Location: Beirut, Lebanon

Key-Skills: User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX), Design Software Tools, Research, Prototyping, Hypothesizing, Quality Assurance, Industry Knowledge, Market Trends.

Our client who operates a marketplace for virtual-interactive classes in any topic or area of interest.

On one hand, they give experts in any area/field all the tools the need to offer virtual/interactive classes, reach customers globally, and make money along the way.

They also help people discover and book classes to help them achieve all their career and life goals.

What you will do:

As a stellar Product Designer (UX/UI) to the team, you will design Expert and Learner platform experience.

You'll look at the Expert onboarding flow, along with the tools they need to offer a great live streaming experience to their students, while tying their needs to what the learners' goals and needs from an educational platform are. You're able to leverage research insights to inform the brand identity, new functionality, user experience, and visual design for both the Expert and Learner. We're looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves, deeply understand our customers' needs, and transform complex processes and interactions into an intuitive and delightful customer experience. You are able to design the product keeping the vision in mind, while optimizing for the product's short term needs.

Day to day, it looks like:

  • Working closely with the CEO to conduct research, identify growth opportunities and
  • new functionalities
  • Testing prototypes and hypotheses with users to collect feedback
  • Presenting your work to the team.
  • QA'ing the platform and providing feedback to our engineering team.


Requirements

Qualification Criteria:

  • 4+ years work experience as a Product Designer.
  • Designed impeccable user interfaces.
  • Strong strategic thinking, clearly communicating trade-offs, and understanding the why behind every decision.
  • Scrappy attitude; and understanding the difference between designing to validate.
  • hypotheses vs. designing for the vision.
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends.
  • Self-starter attitude.
  • Fluent / Native English (speaking and writing).
  • At least a relevant Bachelor's Degree from a reputable institution.
