As the Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor at Dr. Costi House of Beauty , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our clinic's facility, equipment, and systems. Your exceptional attention to detail, technical expertise, and proficiency in both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and functional environment for our valued staff and clients. Responsibilities Equipment Inspection: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on clinic equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and other mechanical systems. Issue Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, performing necessary repairs or coordinating with external service providers for more complex issues. Prompt Response: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently to minimize disruption to clinic operations. Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, lubricating equipment, and checking for leaks or damages. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance activities. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance tasks. Cleanliness Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of common areas, including restrooms, waiting areas, and break rooms. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on operations. Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory records. Team Supervision: Follow up on team members to ensure they are performing their jobs correctly and provide necessary guidance and support. Industry Updates: Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies in maintenance to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Requirements Education & Experience ● Technical program in maintenance, such as an HVAC or electrical program, or a related field ● Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance and facilities management. ● Previous experience in supervising a maintenance team is desirable. Competencies & Skills ● Bilingual in English and Arabic (French language is a plus). ● Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs. ● Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance activities. ● Strong problem -solving skills and attention to detail. ● Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required. ● Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, external vendors, and contractors
