PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Administrative and Finance Assistant will provide essential support to LPDC, contributing to the administrative and financial operations of the committee and its projects.
The assistant will be supporting the implementation of donor-funded initiatives and enhancing the overall efficiency of LPDC's support services along with the M&E officer.
What you'll be doing
Provide day-to-day administrative support to LPDC's operational teams.
Assist in financial tracking, documentation, and reporting in line with donor requirements and internal procedures.
Support the adoption and implementation of donor-specific financial and administrative policies.
Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
Assist in preparing financial reports and budget summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
Support the monitoring of LPDC expenditures and ensure timely processing of payments.
Liaise with vendors, service providers, and partners to ensure compliance with procurement and financial protocols.
Collaborate with LPDC team to ensure alignment between administrative processes and project activities.
RequirementsEssential:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in administrative and financial support roles.
- Familiarity with donor compliance frameworks and financial reporting standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with colleagues, vendors, and partners.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software.
Desirable:
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with basic office procedures and the ability to adapt to new administrative systems
- Knowledge of the Lebanese context.
