This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work well under pressure. *Responsibilities:* * Assist chefs in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and cooking dishes * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards * Support the kitchen team in achieving efficient service standards, including expediting food, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean workspace * Collaborate with chefs to ensure high -quality dishes are prepared to meet customer expectations * Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels * Maintain a positive and professional attitude, providing excellent customer service and supporting colleagues in a team environment *Requirements:* * Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast -paced restaurant or catering setting * Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge, with a willingness to learn and adhere to industry standards * Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast -paced environment * Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in a hot kitchen environment * Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays * High school diploma or equivalent, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in a kitchen environment
