Heavy Vehicles Maintenance Technician

Summary: This role is essential to maintaining the safety, performance, and reliability of our vehicle fleet. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet operational standards and regulatory requirements. By performing routine maintenance and addressing mechanical issues promptly, the technician helps minimize downtime, extend vehicle lifespan, and support the smooth operation of daily services. This position plays a critical role in upholding our commitment to quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns - Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other vehicle components - Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals - Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols during all repair and inspection procedures - Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and service history - Collaborate with fleet managers and operators to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology preferred - Proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, preferably in a fleet or commercial setting - Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools - Strong understanding of safety standards, maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics - Excellent problem -solving skills and attention to detail - Valid driver's license and clean driving record required ${job_location} ${employment_type} ${salary_range}
