International Maritime Academy is looking for a Admissions Senior Representative to join our team.
.JOB SUMMARY
The Senior will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive enrollment and revenue growth for the International Maritime Academy s educational programs. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, managing key client relationships, promoting IMA s services to prospective students, companies, and partners, and achieving sales targets.
The Senior will report directly to the Head of Admissions and work closely with the Admissions team to ensure seamless coordination between sales, recruitment, and enrollment functions. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients and prospective students, ensuring exceptional customer service and aligning sales efforts with the Academy s mission and objectives.
2.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve enrollment and revenue targets in line with the Head of Admissions direction.
Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential clients, including individuals, corporate partners, and maritime industry stakeholders.
Conduct market research to understand competitive trends and customer needs.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients and institutions.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key industry players.
Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, providing accurate and timely information about IMA programs and services.
Ensure client satisfaction through regular follow-up, addressing feedback, and providing customized solutions.
Student Recruitment and Outreach:
Promote IMA programs to prospective students, including school visits, education fairs, and online campaigns.
Provide detailed information about courses, admission requirements, and career opportunities in the maritime sector.
Support the registration process by guiding students and corporate clients through enrollment procedures in close coordination with the Head of Admissions and the Admissions team.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Coordinate closely with and report to the Head of Admissions to ensure alignment of sales and admissions strategies.
Take responsibility for offline marketing and sales activities in collaboration with the Head of Admissions, including outreach campaigns, events, and partnerships.
Work closely with the Marketing and Academic Departments to align promotional campaigns with sales objectives.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics for management review.
Participate in strategy meetings to contribute market insights and business development ideas.
Administrative and Operational Support:
Maintain an up-to-date database of leads, clients, and partners using CRM tools, ensuring accessibility for the Head of Admissions and Admissions team.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of services and programs.
Represent IMA at events, seminars, and industry networking opportunities.
3.REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the education or maritime industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
Willingness to travel locally and regionally for business development.
