We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior .NET Engineer with solid experience in C#, Kafka, and Microservices architecture to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable, high -performing applications and leveraging modern development practices, including AI -assisted tools like GitHub Copilot, to enhance productivity and code quality. The Key Responsibilities are:Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications using C# and microservices -based architectures.Implement message -driven systems leveraging Apache Kafka (consumer/producer design patterns).Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.Develop and maintain unit tests using xUnit and ensure high code coverage for quality assurance.Write optimized Oracle SQL queries and stored procedures for data management and retrieval.Utilize GitHub Copilot or similar AI -assisted development tools to improve efficiency and code consistency.Participate in the full software development lifecycle — from design and implementation to testing and deployment.Collaborate with other developers, QA engineers, and project managers in an Agile/Scrum environment.Proactively identify technical issues, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Provide technical leadership and mentoring when required, ensuring adherence to architectural and security standards. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Not less than 6 years of hands -on experience in .NET development with a strong focus on C#.Proven experience with microservices architecture and event -driven systems.Strong understanding of Apache Kafka and its ecosystem (producers, consumers, topics, partitions).Experience with unit testing frameworks (preferably xUnit).Proficiency in Oracle SQL — including query optimization and stored procedure development.Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI -assisted tools.Excellent analytical, problem -solving, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a distributed, fast -paced environment.Excellent English communication skills.This opportunity is remote for Egyptian applicants and Hybrid for Lebanese applicants. Nice to Have:Experience with .NET 8 or newer versions.Hands -on experience with containerization and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and application performance optimization.
