Procurement Operations Specialist

This role plays a pivotal part in driving impactful results by implementing best procurement practices. The successful candidate will work closely with department heads, project managers, and teams to source goods and services from local, regional, and international suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have managerial experience in procurement and supply operations, ideally in a grant-funded environment or compliance-focused organisation. They must be proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and other SAAS systems, with strong general IT skills.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with project teams to ensure all procurement meets internal, external, legal, and ethical conventions. Additionally, the candidate will manage supplier performance, resolve issues, and address disputes and sub-optimal performance.
Requirements:- Two years of managerial experience in procurement and supply operations
- Ideal 5 years of working in a similar administration/procurement role
- Experience of working in a grant-funded environment or working in a compliance-focused organisation
- Must have the right to reside and work in Lebanon
- Competent user of MS Office, SharePoint, and other SAAS systems
- Attention to detail, ability to identify and rectify errors
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
