IC is looking for a Qualified full time Student Monitor to join its Early Childhood and Elementary School, Ain Aar Campus, effective September 2026.
The Student Monitor provides support to the educational process by ensuring the safety and welfare of students during classroom and non-classroom activities, minimizing the frequency and severity of harmful incidents on school grounds, and helping maintain a safe, secure, and positive learning environment. The incumbent is required to exercise sound judgment while enforcing school rules and regulations in accordance with established guidelines. In addition, the position includes teaching up to eight (8) hours of Physical Education (PE) per week in accordance with the school's curriculum and standards.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- A combination of student supervision experience and Physical Education instruction.
- Experience working with children and adolescents and managing student behavior is preferred.
- Highly organized and task oriented.
- Dynamic and proactive.
- Knowledge of the basic methods and practices of security guard work.
- Ability to work with children and exert, when necessary, his/her authority with calm and empathy.
- Ability to read and comprehend as well as to write a simple report.
- Ability to react quickly, calmly and efficiently, during emergency situations.
- Ability to deal tactfully, courteously and impartially with all people involved during work.
- Fluency in English, Arabic, and French.
