Aspire Software is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our team in Lebanon.
Here is a little window into our company: Aspire Software operates and manages wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.
Role Overview
This is an entry-level position for a graduate developer with strong foundational skills who can pick up new tools quickly and be trusted to deliver. This role is for a member of the Cubit Estimating team, to build new features, maintain the software, and extend the AI capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build, enhance and maintain features in our WinForms desktop application.
• Develop AI features.
• Investigate and fix defects, and maintain existing code.
• Contribute to team meetings, including planning.
• Work with the product lead, QA and other developers to design how features will be implemented.
• Provide ideas on how problems can be solved and customer needs met.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (for example C#, Java or C++).
• A Computer Science degree, or equivalent.
• Fluent spoken and written English, for daily work with a Sydney-based team.
• Deliver quality work and follow through on commitments.
• Availability from 2:00 pm Sydney time each day, for a daily overlap of 2 to 3 hours with the Sydney team
