About the Role
Every dealership that joins or leaves Matador passes through your hands. You’ll own the technical setup that gets new dealers live — phone numbers, messaging compliance, email, integrations — and the complete, careful teardown when an account closes. Between the two, you’re a technical investigator: digging into bugs, CRM errors, and tracking issues, fixing what you can yourself, and routing the rest to the right engineering team with a clear diagnosis. This is a detail-driven role. Activations that are done right the first time, deactivations that leave nothing behind, and compliance submissions that never get a dealer’s messages blocked — that’s what success looks like. What You’ll Be Working On Account activations: own the end-to-end technical setup that takes a new dealership live — phone numbers, messaging compliance, email and 2FA setup, integrations, and account configuration. Account deactivations: execute a clean, complete offboarding when a dealership leaves — winding down users, automations, integrations, and messaging services so nothing is left behind. A2P compliance submissions: manage carrier compliance registrations (A2P) with Twilio from start to finish, so dealership messages to customers are never limited or blocked. Technical support & investigation: investigate reported issues — bugs, CRM errors, analytics and tracking problems. Resolve what you can on your own; for the rest, diagnose the issue and hand it off to the right development team with a clear write-up. Ad hoc support: take on additional tasks as the team’s needs evolve. What We’re Looking For This role rewards precision, ownership, and calm troubleshooting — the kind of person who works a checklist to the end and enjoys getting to the bottom of a weird bug. Must-Have Meticulous attention to detail: activations and deactivations involve many small steps across multiple systems — you don’t skip any of them. Technical aptitude: comfortable working across SaaS platforms and admin consoles — tools like Twilio, HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, and GA4, or the ability to learn them quickly. Troubleshooting instincts: a structured approach to investigating issues — reproduce, isolate, resolve or escalate with a clear diagnosis. Clear written communication: your ticket notes and dev handoffs are precise enough that engineers can act on them without a follow-up call. Process discipline: you follow checklists rigorously, document what you do, and flag when a process could be improved. Nice-to-Have Experience with A2P 10DLC registration or telecom/messaging compliance. Experience in customer onboarding, technical support, or implementation roles at a B2B SaaS company. Familiarity with automotive dealership tools (CRMs, DMS platforms, dealer websites). Why Join Matador AI?
