We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Tender Mechanical Engineer to manage and support the preparation of technical and commercial tenders for mechanical and MEP projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications, preparing cost estimates and BOQs, obtaining supplier quotations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities
• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for mechanical and MEP projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimations for mechanical works.
• Prepare and review BOQs and pricing sheets.
• Send RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors and follow up on quotations.
• Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor offers.
• Estimate costs related to materials, equipment, labor, and subcontracted works.
• Identify technical requirements, discrepancies, and clarifications within tender documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, engineering teams, and management during the tendering process.
• Prepare tender documentation according to client requirements and submission deadlines.
• Ensure proposals comply with technical specifications and contractual requirements.
• Maintain updated databases of supplier quotations, prices, and previous tender information.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization when required.
• Participate in tender clarification meetings and provide technical support when needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in tendering, estimation, or MEP projects.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and quotations.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Good knowledge of supplier sourcing and quotation comparison.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of estimation, ERP, or tendering software is considered an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work within strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and commercial teams.
• Good command of Arabic and English.
