We're seeking to hire a seasoned "Senior Property & Casualty Underwriting" for the Facultative Inward Unit in Beirut with the main function is to perform P&C facultative acceptance underwriting for Lebanon & GCC and to maintain good relationships with producers. The successful candidate will be reporting to P&C Facultative Acceptance Manager.
Sr. Property & Casualty Underwriting Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure the proper implementation of the established policies and procedures in the department.
- Maintain extensive knowledge in treaty terms and conditions
- Perform technical risk assessment and capacity allocation
- Ensure full alignment with the treaty's provisions, underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, authority matrix and regulatory frameworks
- Maintain and promote productive cooperation with business providers
- Perform and supervise administrative and documentation procedures
- Comply with the company's Code of Conduct
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Sr. Property & Casualty Underwriting Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in insurance handling property & casualty facultative acceptance underwriting.
- A Master's degree is a plus
- CII Certification is a plus
- Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Pro-active with can-do-attitude
- Meticulous
- Ability to work under pressure
