Production Worker – Quality Check Support

General Objective

The production worker in the Inclusive Arts Unit contributes to the creation of artistic products while supporting the unit’s mission of social inclusion by working in a collaborative and respectful environment that promotes active participation, empowerment, and integration of persons with disabilities, in line with the values and objectives of arcenciel.

General Tasks

1.      Ensure the production and quality of ceramic products

• Receive orders to prepare from the production supervisor.
  
• Proceed in order of priority (deadline / quantity).
  
• Prepare and create the molds to be used, based on the orders.
  
• Prepare the porcelain mixture to pour into the molds.
  
• Fill carefully the molds and let them harden.
  
• Release the finished models from the molds and let them rest.
  
• Assemble the components of multi-part products.
  
• Ensure the models are fired in the kiln for the first and second time, and after painting if necessary.
  
• Ensure the models are removed from the kiln.
  
• Ensure constant inspection of the quality of the final products before sending them to the next stage of the production process.

• Participate in team meetings within the unit.
  
• Report any issues and defects observed during work to your supervisor.
  
• Ensure compliance with the internal regulations while aligning with the values and culture of the association.
