Financial Record-Keeping
: Accountants are responsible for
maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records of business
transactions in alignment with applicable accounting standards and
government regulations. This involves recording and classifying
financial data such as sales, purchases, expenses, and
receipts

Accounts payable and
receivable : Manage the day-to-day
processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring
timely payments to suppliers and accurate invoicing and
collection from clients.

Payroll administration
: Prepare and process payroll, ensuring
compliance with applicable labor laws, and maintaining accurate
and up-to-date employee records.

Financial Reporting : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual
financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets,
and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide
insights to support decision-making. These reports provide a
snapshot of the company's financial performance and help
Management understand its financial position.

Financial
Analysis : Analyze financial data
to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Interpret
financial ratios, perform variance analysis, and generate
reports that assist management in evaluating the
company's financial health, identifying areas for
improvement.

Tax Compliance : Prepare and file local tax, ensuring
compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. This
includes tasks such as calculating tax liabilities, identifying
eligible tax deductions, and staying updated on changes in
tax laws that could affect the company's tax
obligations.

Budgeting and forecasting
: Analyze historical data, market trends,
and business goals to develop realistic financial plans for
the future. Monitor actual performance against the budget and
provide insights to help management make informed
decisions

Internal controls and audit
: Develop, implement, and maintain robust
financial systems and internal controls to safeguard the
company's assets and ensure the reliability of financial
information. Assist in coordinating internal and external
audit activities.

Regulatory compliance
: Stay up to date with local laws and
regulations and accounting standards such as Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting
Standards (IFRS), ensuring the business remains compliant in all
financial and accounting matters.

Technology and Systems
: Leverage accounting software and other
technological tools to streamline processes, automate tasks, and
enhance accuracy. Maintaining the integrity and security of
financial data and ensuring the effective use of accounting
systems.
Requirements
Education & Experience
●
Bachelor's degree in
accounting, finance, or related field.
●
CPA, ACCA, or CMA
certification preferred.
●
A minimum of 3 years of
experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare,
luxury retail, or beauty industries.
Competencies & Skills
●
Strong understanding of
accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
requirements.
●
Proficiency in using
accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint) to manage financial records efficiently.

Excellent attention to
detail and strong analytical skills.

ability to handle sensitive financial information
confidentially.
●
Strong organizational and
time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple
competing priorities.
